 Look out Nashville! Megan Ellis has arrived all the way from Ohio ready to Showcase her new rockin' country style! At age 22, not only does Megan have a voice like you've never heard but she is also a talented actress and entertainer. Megan grew up singing with country stars such as Patsy Cline, Reba, and The Judds accompanied by a fine tuned karaoke machine on her parents picnic table for a stage. She began singing at the local talent shows and hometown events at age 6. At around age 17 she entered the Miss America program earning the titles of Jr. Miss Southeastern Ohio and Miss Columbus Teen. Not only did she have a tiara but she also had a catcher's mitt that got her a different kind of title: first team fastpitch softball catcher in Southern Ohio. But that's not all Megan has under her belt. She is more than just a singer, actress, glamorous pageant queen, and athlete! Here's a holla' out to all those country folk! Megan was also a winning hog showman in 4-H at the country fair for nine years. However, at age 19 she decided to let the pigs fend for themselves and hopped on a greyhound bus to the Big Apple; there Megan studied acting in Manhattan at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Once she got her feet wet in NYC she moved back home where she continued gaining experience at an entertainment venue full time for two years. Six days a week Megan would perform for thousands of people through singing, acting, and showing off her personality as a mistress of ceremonies. With all of her experiences and practice Megan is now ready to break through Nashville with some smash hits and a couple gold records. Megan has many dreams for her future and is ready to kick down some doors with her new sound in country music. Keep your ears open for a voice you won't forget. Megan is on her way! |
